Opus is pleased to announce that it has acquired assets of Zeta Dynamics Limited and ZetaFlow Limited.
For the last 27 years Zeta Dynamics has developed its experience in thermo-fluid dynamics and separation technologies to provide its clients, based predominantly in the Oil and Gas industry, with unique solutions to production performance.
The multi-disciplinary approach taken by the two companies led to the development of several unique technologies, including a range of separator internals for gas and water treatment aimed at maximising production efficiency, minimising downtime and overcoming the other complexities familiar to oil operators tasked with production optimisation. These technologies and the research behind them significantly enhance the well established and extensive Opus catalogue of work in this field. Both Zeta Dynamics and ZetaFlows’ combined application of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) compliments the holistic approach to assignments already taken by Opus.
The Zeta Dynamics Fluids Laboratory and its associated physical modelling hardware will be appended to the Opus Test Facilities to extend the capabilities of this already extensive and versatile test site. Proven technologies will be consolidated within the Opus portfolio, while unexploited innovations will be further researched and developed.
